Two kinds of answer
Questions about the estate — what is running, what breached, what to prioritise — are answered by computation over the site's current readings and open alerts, not generated. Questions about standards, codes and general engineering practice go to the retrieval corpus, which is generated per industry from the packs and their cited standards.
Diagnostic evidence
On an equipment page Argo carries an evidence-bounded diagnostic report into the conversation: measured values separated from derived ones, coverage stated as areas with evidence over areas checked, and missing evidence named rather than assumed. Argo does not assert a fault without supporting telemetry.
Scope
Argo is scoped to the organization and the sites the signed-in user can access. It provides decision support; human review remains authoritative, and nothing Argo says actuates plant.
Backends
An organization's assistant backend is an entitlement: a hosted retrieval service by default, with an AWS Bedrock route available where the deployment carries the credentials for it.
